..aka short FAQ..
So who are you? *poke poke*
Well, I've come to call myself "Mira" online, thus the ever so witty thing of calling my sites(s) "Miraculous" :P You can read more about me and what I am up to in my online journal. And if you're reaaaally curious, click here to to see my other webbies ;)
How do I contact you? I noticed a broken link in your listing/ I have info for a book that you're looking for / I have some literature or a link that you can add to your listing..
Then you could either leave me a note in my guestbook or email me at: miraculousm [at] gmail [dot] com
And yepp, the above email is in a slightly scrambled form to confuse nasty spambots.. When contacting me, please use a subject line like "Needlebinding Link" or "Needlebinding Literature" or some such, so I won't mistake your email for spam.
When did you learn about nålbind, no wait, nalebind.. needlebinding?
I first discovered the craft in 2005, when I got curious over a cap a friend was making. It didn't look quite like knitting or crochetting, more somewhere inbetween. It turned out a friend of hers, now a mutual friend of ours, had introduced her to the craft. Soon that friend also taught me to needlebind. I'm afraid my creations are very few at the moment, but I am trying to change that, whenever I'm not keeping up with my studies.
Why did you make this site?
I started looking for places to discuss, literature to read and material for this craft, and so this site came to be. That, and in addition me required to create a site for a CSS course in Webdesign, so what better way to combine something fun with homework! I hope this site will be of use to others fond of needlebinding, regardless of whether they are beginners or experts, or what they in fact call the craft :)
I want to link to this site, and I'd like to use a banner. Do you have any such?
Indeed I do! Simply click the following links and save either the 468x60 pixels banner or the 130x55 pixels banner to your own harddrive so you can upload them to your own webspace to use when linking to this site.
